The Tiaxa Online Balance Advance is a hybrid technology and financial service focused on providing cash to prepaid users when they have insufficient balance available. Based on user behavior data, Tiaxa uses proprietary and patented scoring methods and algorithms to analyze user behavior, and perform segmentation and scoring processes to determine the correct amounts to advance to each user. Once opted in, the user will experience the Balance Advance in a seamless manner, whereby their call or data session will not be interrupted while they have access to the additional balance availed by Tiaxa. Upon the user’s next top-up, the pending amounts will be recovered.
Benefits for the Operator include increased customer loyalty, reduced SIM-swap, increased or sustained ARPU, with no risk to the Operator. Tiaxa provides the Balance Advance as a Managed Service, including all hardware, software, and supporting professional services. Tiaxa also manages the risk for the Operator, guaranteeing the recovery of all the advances in the case of user churn.
The Balance Advance is currently implemented in 8 Operators in Latin America including Movistar Colombia, Peru, Mexico and Argentina, as well as Vivo, with over 4 million active users and hundreds of thousands of daily transactions.
