Before the end of this year 2022, Tiaxa will complete its transition to joining Bemobi and establish its leadership in mobile digital services. The same will happen with its brand, product portfolio and organization, after unifying the go-to-market strategy, service offer and operation under a single brand: Bemobi.

We live in a hyper-connected, changing and dynamic world, where adaptation, flexibility and constant innovation are key to taking on greater challenges. The union of Tiaxa with Bemobi points in that direction, since together they will seek to organize and prepare to form something bigger, with global objectives and give continuity to the most essential project of all: to continue connecting people.

In February 2021, Bemobi successfully debuted on the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange (BMOB3), after raising more than 233 million dollars.

A Bemobi 2.0: Together we are stronger

After a year of intense work together, both companies have reinforced the idea that together they are stronger and that they can achieve more ambitious goals, compete with world-class benchmarks, continue to deliver top-level solutions, and grow in a scalable manner over time.

For Felipe Valdés, CEO of Tiaxa, the work that has been carried out together with Bemobi over the last year has been very profitable in view of the objectives set for the coming years and has been very useful for the cohesion of the work teams as well as for the technical and operational organization.

“In Bemobi we have found a culture very close to that of Tiaxa, an excellent environment that fosters teamwork, respect for people, and new ideas. We are very complementary in terms of products and geographies, and therefore, we have focused on elucidating how together we can capture the opportunities offered by the confluence of the financial and telecommunications industries, as we will be able to develop more and better products and services”.

“Together with Bemobi, we are present in 47 countries and maintain alliances with 108 mobile operators, which makes it possible for us to offer subscription services and provide access to applications and solutions to more than 2.6 billion consumers.”

Pedro Ripper, CEO of Bemobi, assures that Tiaxa’s expertise in the world of microfinance and in the extraction of data and understanding of data science, greatly complements the work they have been doing with mobile operators in Latin America, along with having more tools to improve the experience of end users.

“The incorporation of the Tiaxa team brings a lot of innovation to Bemobi, especially in the possibility of providing credits to all types of users. They have a lot of experience analyzing and qualifying mobile behaviors through alternative data, which can give us new and interesting insights to improve and open up our services with Telcos in Latin America”.

The Tiaxa and Bemobi Technology and Products teams meet in Rio de Janeiro.

Pedro also highlights how advantageous it will be to apply Tiaxa’s 20+ years of experience working in the telecommunications and financial sectors, and implementing it in other industries.

“Tiaxa has a great track record of working with Telcos and financial institutions that can be extrapolated to other industries such as Public Services and Energy. We found that together we can improve their end-user experience, offer them solutions that better fit their needs through the right channel and provide them with payment alternatives. In this way we combine our strengths and develop more robust products and more complete services.”
